Quilters Tea/Chinese Auction
is fast approaching. February 11th
is the big day. Doors open at 9 am.
Before then, we have work to do! We have several car loads of donated items, needing to be sorted, bagged and bundled. Monday, January 28th, 1 pm amd 7 pm, we will be tackling this mountain of treasures. The quantity of quilty/crafty donations is already above previous years, and this doesn't count the treasures in quilters vehicles, just waiting for the day.
Speaking of cars, we will need two or three vehicles to transport the treasures from the Museum Barn, early morning of February 11th. Contact Laura 509 982 2908 if you can help with this.
ON ANOTHER NOTE, we have an opportunity to have our selected nationally know quilt instructor, Maggie Ball, June 28th and 29th of this year for a lecture/trunk show and a quilting workshop. She is holding those dates for us until we can meet February 4th and determine if this date will work for us. If you can not be at the meeting, please let Laura know your thoughts before then.
Also, though members will have first dibs on the workshop spaces, we will have space available for quilters from the area. Cost is yet to be determined, but with our several years of Quilters Tea fund raisers should be reasonable. The Friday evening lecture will be open to all.
